SUPPORT GIVING ENDS JANUARY 19, 2013!!
This was a decision made by the missions committee of SJBC, and it's one that we fully agree with. Any missionary serving with the International Mission Board (IMB) receives continued financial support for 2 months from the day they return to the U.S. when ending their service with the IMB. This is simply a measure of accountability. SJBC only aims to treat us fairly and in accordance with how other missions organizations are handling their "missionaries in transition."
The church will begin rejecting any donations that come in after January 31st, as it would be unethical for them to receive donations designated for our family and keep them for the benefit of the church. There will be a grace period between January 19th and 31st. Anything that slips in between those dates will reach our family.
